How to purge deleted email messages from the BlackBerry smartphone

To purge deleted email messages from the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Messages.

  2. Press the Menu key and click Options.

  3. Click Email Reconciliation.

  4. Press the Menu key and click Purge Deleted Items, as shown below.
